Become a Student at Literacy Delaware

 

Become a Student

To become a Basic Reading or English Language Learner, you must:

  • Complete a test to evaluate your current abilities
  • Commit to attend weekly meetings/classes
  • Commit to at least 90 hours of instruction per year
  • Be at least 16 years old

Important Info About Being a Student

  • You will be matched with a tutor to meet one to one or in a small group.
  • You will meet at mutually convenient places and times.
  • You can choose your goal(s).
  • We serve all learners regardless of race, sex,  socioeconomic background or sexual orientation.
