Below you can find many different ways to contribute to Literacy Delaware. Find the way the works best for you!

Sponsor a Literacy Delaware learner’s instruction for an entire year for $484.50.

When you sponsor a learner, you help an entire family improve their literacy skills! A child whose parents have low literacy skills has a 72% chance of struggling with low literacy themselves. Lifting the parents’ skills impacts their child(children) as well!

Become a Literacy Champion Monthly Donor. 

When you become a Literacy Champion, you will join a special group of people dedicated to helping improve the lives of their fellow Delawareans by committing to a monthly donation. With your sustained monthly gift, we can reach more adults in need throughout our state to and continue our work to empower all Delawareans through literacy.

Include Literacy Delaware in your Estate Plan or Will

For many of us there is a compelling need to make a difference, to leave a lasting impact in the world. Your planned gift has far-reaching effects for future generations of Delawareans, ensuring adult learners are equipped with the skills they need to express themselves, be self-sufficient and share the power of learning with their families and communities.

Anyone with a commitment to the well-being of their community – both now and in years to come – can make a planned gift to leave a lasting impact by creating a legacy of an educated and connected community.

You can name us by:

·      Designating Literacy Delaware as a beneficiary in your will or living trust. 

·      Designating the gift of a specific dollar amount.

·      Designating a particular asset (e.g. stock, car, etc.).

·      Designating a percentage of your estate.

·      Designating the remainder of your estate once all your other bequests have been fulfilled.
